We want you to enjoy your day of bluegrass in the park. For this reason, we are providing a bit of advice about what to bring. There is seating (on wooden benches) for one or two hundred people in front of the stage. We're expecting a much bigger crowd than that. So you should bring along comfortable lawn chairs and a cushion. The cushion is in case you get to use the bench seating. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate area. As we don't use tickets for admission, you can come and go as you please. However, if you'd like to spend all day in the park enjoying the great entertainment, then why not bring a nice picnic lunch and supper? It's an ideal place for outdoor eating. Public washrooms are located in the park, with more just a block away. Most of the park area is in the shade of large trees, but if you're wandering around, the usual summer gear is recommended. Hopefully, umbrellas and raingear will not be needed. Lastly, but very importantly, don't forget to bring a bit of folding money for your donation - the entire event is financed through donations and we'll go broke if we fail to collect enough! |
